How to Access
Consult is accessible from the main navigation bar in Jiro, found on the left hand side of the browser or bottom on the iOS app. Select the Consult tab to open the interface, then type your clinical question into the text field and tap (mobile) or click (web) Send to submit.

+ Icon: starts a new Consult conversation. Select this to begin a fresh query without affecting previous threads.
- History icon: opens your Consult history. Each of your previous threads is labeled with the first question of your search alongside the date and time the first message was sent, and total number of messages in the thread. Click on the thread to view it or resume the session.
- Responses are organized into a structured clinical summary with inline references. Hover over a reference on desktop, or tap on mobile, to preview source details.
- After receiving a response, use the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons to rate it and optionally leave a comment.
