Your Profile Page & Information
Your profile page is where you manage how you appear in Jiro, including your profile picture. Find out how to open it on the web and on iOS, then upload, crop, or remove your photo.
Accessing Your Profile Page
On the Web
- Select your profile icon in the bottom left corner of your browser, or your icon in the top right of the Practice page.
- Select "Profile" from the menu.
On iOS
- Tap the "More" tab in the bottom right corner of the app.
- Select "Profile" from the menu.

- Tap your profile icon in the top right of the Practice page.
Uploading a Profile Picture
Update your profile photo from your profile page. Select the pencil icon in the bottom right corner of your current profile picture. The pencil offers two options: "Upload photo" and "Remove photo".
Where Your Photo Is Displayed
On the web, your profile picture always appears in the bottom left corner. It also appears in the upper right corner of the Practice page.
On iOS, your profile picture appears only in the upper right corner of the Practice page.
Uploading a Photo
On the web, selecting "Upload photo" opens your computer's files. Choose the photo you want for your profile and open it.
On iOS, the first time you upload a photo from your phone, selecting "Upload photo" opens a screen asking you to give Jiro access to your photos. The options are "Limit Access" or "Allow Full Access".
Jiro then asks to access your camera. To take your profile photo at that moment, select "OK". You can then add a photo from your camera roll or take a new picture.
Cropping a Photo
Jiro opens the photo in a window for cropping. Use the zoom slider, and use your mouse or fingers to center the photo. When your adjustments are complete, select the blue "Save photo" button to set your selection.
Removing a Photo
Selecting "Remove photo" clears your current profile picture from your account. Jiro does not ask for confirmation. A placeholder with your initials replaces the previous picture.
Important to Remember
- On iOS, your profile picture appears only in the upper right corner of the Practice page.
- Selecting "Remove photo" clears your picture right away, and Jiro does not ask for confirmation.
- On iOS, the first photo upload asks you to give Jiro access to your photos: "Limit Access" or "Allow Full Access".
