Consult is Jiro Health's AI-powered clinical chat tool. Simply type a clinical question and receive a structured response grounded in real-world medical evidence, clinical guidelines, and peer-reviewed literature.

Credits through Consult engagement will be earned and applied to your wallet. As you accumulate credits, they can be redeemable for gift cards and more through the Perks program.

Consult keeps a tab for each of your conversations. To view a previous chat, simply click the conversation.

4. How It Works

Step 1: You Ask a Question

You type your clinical question into the Consult input box and press submit.

Step 2: Evidence Search

Consult searches across curated clinical databases including published guidelines, PubMed literature, and real-world clinical data to find the most relevant sources.

Step 3: Personalization Layer

The AI applies a personalization layer based on your account and NPI number. This provides Consult with your specialty and practice profile, surfacing information most relevant to the kind of patients you treat. As you use the Consult feature, it’s personalization improves.

Step 4: Response Generation

A response is generated and streamed to your screen in real time, divided into a clinical summary and supporting review.

Step 5: References Provided

Cited sources are listed at the bottom of the response.

Step 6: Feedback Captured

You rate the helpfulness of a response via the thumbs up/down buttons.

7. Troubleshooting

My response is taking a long time to load Refresh the page and resubmit your question. Occasional slowness may occur during peak usage.
My response seems incomplete This can occasionally happen due to a streaming interruption. Resubmit your question.
Reference previews aren't working Ensure you are hovering on desktop and tapping references on mobile.
CME credits aren't updating Credits are tracked automatically after each complete Consult session. Allow a few minutes for updates to reflect.
I can't access Consult Ensure you have completed physician verification and signed the required agreements during signup. Contact support if access issues persist.

Is this HIPPA compliant?

Jiro Health operates in full compliance with HIPAA requirements. Please review the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) you accepted at signup for full details.

How are my CME credits tracked?

Each completed Consult session counts as 0.5 CME credits. Credits are tracked automatically.

How accurate are the responses?

Consult is built to prioritize accuracy by pulling from validated clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed literature. Always apply your clinical judgment and use the feedback button to rate responses.

What is the Perks/Rewards program?

Jiro Health's Perks program rewards you for engaging with the platform. You earn wallet credits for completing activities.
